Set of 4 La Cartuja Ceilán Coffee Cups with Saucer
Made to order
Set of 4 Coffee Cups with Saucers, Ceylon collection, La Cartuja de Sevilla.
Handcrafted pieces made with fine earthenware in Spain.
Ceylon transports us to the traditions and landscapes of this Indian Ocean island. Its exotic flora and fauna set the tone for the scene framed by a fretwork that combines moldings and Asian roses. The oriental influence in the ceramic designs is more than palpable in this model. Its perfect combination of pattern and fretwork, combined with the intense blue it presents, makes Ceylon another of the most beloved tableware among lovers of La Cartuja de Sevilla. After almost 200 years, the masterful formula that, in its proper proportions, results in the fine earthenware characteristic of La Cartuja de Sevilla, still maintains its same components.
