Authenticity of Fajalauza ceramics

Each of our Fajalauza pieces is the result of an entirely handmade process, inherited from Granada and Moroccan tradition. As they are made and glazed by hand, no piece is perfect or identical to another: you may notice slight asymmetries, irregularities in the painting, areas with a different glaze thickness, or small marks typical of the firing process.

You may sometimes even see small craquelure or nuances in the colour that reflect its handmade nature. These details are not defects, but rather the best proof of the authenticity and human craftsmanship behind each piece.

Each lebrillo bowl is therefore unique and one of a kind, with an imperfect beauty that forms part of the essence of this artisan ceramic — a living blend of history, tradition and Mediterranean art.
